Our Team
C K Ramachandran is a retired Indian Administrative Service personnel. He is very passionate about history and heritage of Kerala. He has written various blogs and articles about the history and cultural aspects of North Kerala. Mr. Ramachandran was very much instrumental in mentoring the initial research and story hunting by Tyndis. He helped Tyndis a lot in the search for stories that connected the dots between the modern day Malabar and the history and heritage that was left behind. C K Ramachandran is a resident of Calicut.
Capt. Ramesh Babu is a retired Indian Navy personnel. He is an engineer by profession. He retired as a Marine Engineer from the Indian Navy. He also served as the Project Director of NIRDESH or the National Institute for Research and Development in Defence Shipbuilding. With his passion in history and heritage, Capt. Ramesh Babu was involved in conducting Cultural and Heritage Walks in Mumbai and Calicut. He also associated with Tyndis for training storytellers and creating awareness about the heritage and history of Malabar amongst the new generation. He presently lives in Mumbai.
Mohandas P is a retired College Professor and Historian. He retired as the dean of the history department in the Krishna Menon Women’s College in Kannur. He also served in the Public Service Commission of Kerala. Mohandas is a passionate historian and has associated with Tyndis in identifying the deep culture and traditions of North Kerala. He has a deep knowledge of the Theyyam and Handloom culture in Kannur. He resides in Kannur.
Rajeev Pallikkonam is a historian and artist. He is working as the chief artist of Balarama – the children’s publication of Malayala Manorama. Rajeev is also a key member of the Centre for Cultural and Heritage Studies of Kottayam. He has authored various articles and books connected with the heritage and history of Old Kottayam. Rajeev has been instrumental in developing the heritage walking tours by Tyndis in Kottayam. He is also one among the key storytellers for Tyndis in Kottayam. He lives in the Pallikkonam village in Kottayam district.
Binusha is a passionate traveller and explorer. She has deep knowledge about the culture and heritage of North Kerala. Binusha is expert in handling foreign travellers. She delivers Tyndis Storyteller Tours in Kerala.
Farhan is a young and enthusiastic advocate. He practices in Thalassery. Farhan has a unique taste of travelling. He travels to learn and understand the heritage and history of places. He is a storyteller for Tyndis in Kannur and Thalassery.
Sheema is a school teacher. She is very much passionate about sharing knowledge and information about a particular place or incident connected with heritage and history. Sheema travels a lot and writes articles and blogs. She is an active Tyndis storyteller.
Sushil Das is a travel junky. He has travelled over 23 states of India. Sushil is also a regular tour coordinator to places like Manali and Leh-Ladakh. He is an expert in dealing with foreign tourists. Sushil understands and delivers to the need of tourists. He is an active member of Tyndis Ambassador Programmes and Storytelling.
Priyanka is a school teacher by profession. She is a passionate traveller and researcher. Priyanka has a deep knowledge of the heritage and culture of North Kerala. She is an active ambassador of Tyndis Storytelling initiatives.
Divakaran is an interesting figure. He is a school dropout having high intelligence and passion for agriculture. He is a man of different faces. Professionally, a local toddy tapper. But, he has deep knowledge about the local biodiversity and eco-system. He has been declared as an experimental agricultural scientist by various universities. Divakaran associates with Tyndis as an environment ambassador and Storyteller.
Sujith is a passionate traveller. He has a burning desire to know the heritage and culture of each place he visits. Sujith writes articles and travel blogs on online travel platforms. He is from Kannur and has passion for art forms like Theyyam and Poorakkali. Sujith is a key storyteller for Tyndis in North Kerala.
Ancy is a tourism and hospitality student from Calicut. She has a passion for meeting new people and exploring new places. She is an ambassador for the Students for Culture and Heritage programme by Tyndis. She also works as Tyndis storyteller in Calicut.
